SW8000NBU is an outdoor, carrier-grade wireless base station with an integrated antenna. It operates in the 5GHz unlicensed frequency band and is compliant with the IEEE802.11n standard. It utilizes a high-performance Qualcomm Atheros high-speed network processor and IEEE802.11a/n MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology. It employs a 2T2R architecture and supports wireless transmission rates up to 300Mbps.

With a combined RF power output of up to 2x500mW and a sensitivity of -96dBm, the device integrates 2x2 MIMO directional antennas. It is ideally suited for long-distance backbone network transmission projects and high-definition video surveillance applications for large data streams, such as those in oilfields, power generation, water conservancy, forestry, industrial and mining enterprises, safe cities, intelligent transportation, and digital energy.

The SW8000NBU supports point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) wireless applications, and features wireless roaming (WDS), virtual AP, and mobile Wi-Fi access management. It also supports routing, firewall, VLAN, NAT, VPN, DHCP, ACL, WatchDog, and NTP.
